  • Preparing the Marinade

    Mix yogurt, olive oil, garlic, paprika, cumin, pepper, salt, and lemon juice. Add chicken cubes and coat thoroughly. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  • Skewering the Chicken

    Thread marinated chicken onto skewers, alternating with bell pepper and onion pieces for color and flavor.

  • Grilling Over High

    Heat Place skewers on a hot grill. Cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until lightly charred and fully cooked.

  • Resting the Meat

    Remove from the grill and let rest for 2-3 minutes to keep the juices inside.

Chicken Shish Kebab is one of Turkey’s most beloved grilled dishes. Chicken pieces are marinated in yogurt, spices, and olive oil, then threaded onto skewers and cooked over high heat. The outside becomes lightly charred while the inside stays juicy and tender. When served with rice, flatbread, roasted peppers, and onions, it turns into a complete feast.
