    Olive Oil
  • 400 ml
    Vegetable or Chicken Broth
  • 1 tsp
    Sugar
  • 1 tsp
    Salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    Black Pepper
  • 50 ml
    Heavy Cream
  • 1 for garnish
    Fresh Basil
Directions
  • Sautéing the Aromatics

    Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add chopped onions and cook until soft. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  • Adding Tomatoes & Paste

    Add tomatoes and tomato paste. Stir well and cook for 5 minutes to deepen the flavor.

  • Adding Broth & Seasoning

    Pour in broth, then add sugar, salt, and pepper. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 15 minutes.

  • Blending the Soup Use an

    immersion blender (or transfer to a blender) to puree until smooth and velvety.

  • Adding Cream (Optional) Return soup

    to the pot and stir in heavy cream for extra richness. Heat gently without boiling.

  • Serving Serve hot, garnished with

    fresh basil.
