Bulgogi is one of the most famous grilled dishes in Korean cuisine. Thinly sliced beef is marinated in soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, pear purée, and sugar. The result is meat that is sweet, savory, slightly smoky, and incredibly juicy. It is cooked quickly over high heat, allowing it to caramelize while staying tender. When served with rice, kimchi, and fresh vegetables, it becomes a complete feast.
