    White Wine

    Creme de leite
  • 1/2 colher de chá
    Sal
  • 1/2 colher de chá
    Black Pepper
  • 1 for garnish
    Fresh Parsley
Instruções
  • Cleaning the Mussels

    Rinse mussels under cold water. Discard any that are cracked or remain open when tapped. Remove beards if present.

  • Sautéing Aromatics

    Heat butter and olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until soft. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  • Adding Wine

    Pour in white wine and bring to a simmer. Let it reduce slightly for 1-2 minutes to deepen flavor.

  • Steaming the Mussels

    Add mussels to the pot. Cover with a lid and cook for 5-7 minutes until all mussels open. Shake the pot occasionally to help them cook evenly.

  • Adding Cream

    Remove the lid and pour in heavy cream. Stir gently and simmer for 1-2 minutes. Add salt, pepper, and optional lemon juice or chili flakes.

  • Final Adjustments

    Taste and adjust seasoning. Discard any mussels that did not open.

  • Serving Serve immediately with chopped

    parsley on top and crusty bread on the side.
