  • Preparing the Sauce

    Mix tamarind paste, fish sauce, and palm sugar until smooth. This sauce is the soul of Pad Thai.

  • Stir-Frying the Base

    Heat a wok and sauté garlic, tofu, and shrimp until fragrant. Push aside and scramble the eggs.

  • Tossing the Noodles

    Add softened rice noodles and pour the sauce over them. Stir-fry until the noodles absorb the flavors.

  • Final Assembly

    Add bean sprouts and peanuts. Serve with lime wedges.
